Organization 
Swedsoft is an industry initiative to strengthen Swedish competitiveness with regards to research and development of software intensive systems, services, and products.
The initiatives members and financiers include ABB AB, Ericsson AB, Saab AB, AB Volvo and Arcticus Systems AB from industry, as well as the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS), Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Chalmers, IT Univeristy of Gothenburg, Linköping University (LiU), Lund University Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Mälardalen University (MdH), and Uppsala University (UU).
Swedsoft was formally founded 2008.
SICS is the coordinator of Swedsoft.
