Swedsoft is a catalyst for cooperation by focusing on technical areas that have general industrial importance and by organizing or supporting activities around these technical areas. In addition, Swedsoft acts to create visibility for the importance of software in Swedish industry and by doing so, create the necessary conditions for forceful and coordinated actions from politicians, industry, academy and research institutes.

The activities are open for Swedsoft members, creating networks and flow of information between all parties; companies, academy and research institutes.

The choice of technical focus is based on the industries priorities as well as the general importance for Swedish industry and future competitiveness, independently of the end-products that the companies produce. Very significant savings can be realized by cooperation between companies, between different industries, academy and research institutes.
