New report about digital excellence

Today, we release a report on what needs to be done to make Sweden one of the international leaders in digital excellence. The report is one of our responses to the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth and Swedish Higher Education Authority’s government assignment to “together analyze and propose how the supply of digital excellence can be developed both in the short and long term”.

This is a summary of the Swedish article.

At the beginning of the report, we go through previous definitions of digital competence and propose an updated version. Since digital excellence is based on digital competence, this becomes the basis for the definition of digital excellence that we propose today.

After the definitions, we proceed to analyze where Sweden is today and set goals in different areas. This is followed by a section on how we can work together to strengthen digital excellence in Sweden.

The last area in the report is about what we need to do now, to reach the goals of digital excellence. In a few key areas we present activities that different actors (parliament, government, companies, organizations etc.) should take.

The report can be downloaded here, in Swedish.
