Gathering Swedish Software
Swedsoft gathers organizations from all over Sweden who are interested in software development. Our strength lies in the great diversity of members. Here are some of our largest Swedish companies, startups and other SME companies from different industries with academia, institutes, organizations and more. Together in the association, we work to support Swedish software development and to secure Sweden’s future competitiveness.
What we want
Swedsoft wants to strengthen Swedish competitiveness, innovation capacity, research and education regarding software development and development of software-intensive products, systems and services. We also want to increase knowledge about software in society in order to increase the understanding and interest in software in Sweden.
What we do
The association’s work for each year is based on the business plan decided by the members at the autumn meeting at the end of the year before. Swedsoft’s strategic business plan determines the vision, mission, and strategic direction that Swedsoft will take in 2023 and onwards.
Sweden shall be world leading in software development and the development of software-intensive products, systems, and services.
Swedsoft’s mission is to contribute to increased knowledge of the role of software and to promote software-based growth and increased competitiveness in industry, academia, and society.

Secretariat at Teknikföretagens Branschgrupper
Swedsoft use Teknikföretagens Branschgrupper for the secretariat. Teknikföretagens Branschgrupper is a subsidiary of the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries (Teknikföretagen), which runs some 30 independent industry and interest organizations in the technology sector.
