Last days to register – STEW 2021

Wednesday next week is the last day to register for the tenth annual Software Technology Exchange Workshop 2021. Do not miss the opportunity to take part in a software conference focusing on networking.

Wednesday November 3rd is the last day to register for STEW 2021. This years’ STEW is held in Lund on November 11-12th and at this networking software conference, you will be able to engage in discussions and listen to inspiring presentations around this year’s theme – Software as a motor for acceleration and disruption. One of our speakers this year is Renato Neves, Global Manager, Head of Digital Ecosystems & Partnerships Connected Technologies, SKF Group

Hello Renato, can you tell us about your background?

Renato Neves, SKF Group, speaker at STEW 2021.

My name is Renato Neves and I’m a professional with international experience in different areas – I’m a mechanical engineer that started a career in Brazil by applying condition monitoring techniques in different industries and from there I expanded my experience in leadership, maintenance strategy and the service business. Since 5 years ago, I’ve moved to Sweden to work with product management in different areas -analytics and AI, software, apps and hardware. I’ve recently moved to a position as the head of digital ecosystems and partnerships, where my main goal is to setup a partnership network that will allow SKF to deliver faster data-driven solutions to our customers. I believe that working with the customer from beginning is the “way-to-go” and this is what drives my motivation.

What will you talk about at STEW?

At STEW I will talk about the SKF journey to deliver rotation as a service to our customers and how big data, software and AI are a foundation for it. I will present how we are organized today to develop our solutions and how do we intend to use strategic partners to speed up our time to market.

Why do you think it is important to be a part of an event like STEW?

Being able to exchange information with companies that are going through similar transformations is extremely valuable and will help me speeding up my learning from both their success and failures from the past. Also, it’s a unique opportunity for me to present my plans and to get feedback from professionals with vast experience in the area.

Besides listening to interesting presentations and taking part in workshops and discussions during the conference , STEW is especially arranged with a lot of room for networking, with the annual STEW-dinner being an appreciated part and a great opportunity for you to have interesting discussions.

Don’t wait too long to register – we look forward to meeting you in Lund!
