Swedsoft about standardization of AI

Earlier this spring, Swedsoft submitted our comments on a proposal for a request from the European Commission to develop a standard for artificial intelligence.

Swedsoft has reviewed the proposal, and our overall strong recommendation is not to standardize AI as a technology, as it risks limiting the development. Standardizing AI at this stage carries significant risks for progress and, consequently, competitiveness within the EU. Instead, the focus should be on ensuring the quality of training data.
